Green tea cino (a la Icey Ice) (I ate the foam en route sorry :P) and gomashio (ごま塩) biscuits (black sesame seed salt). (via ecaloshay)
The biscuits aren’t bad but they’re a little weird. They’re savoury, but my brain keeps trying, and failing, to force my taste sensors to register ‘sweet’. Maybe next time I’ll add honey or something into the mix.
Oh and I made version one of the biscuits with butter and plain flour. I am intrigued by version three though, but I didn’t have any tahini or chickpea flour on hand.

A glass of mugicha, that warm, sunny but still cloudy light, cicadas, and the sound of a fan spinning away. If I close my eyes I could be back in Japan. Add an imaginary smell of a cold glass of Tang and I could be back in Malaysia.

Home-made matcha latte. Given this was experimental, not too bad. :P
I’m glad I didn’t try to use the Sunbeam milk frother with a full cup though, that doodad’s got a lot of juice and a half-cup of liquid whizzed all the way up to the rim.
