Incidentally, I recommend that you watch this movie. I’m not usually into that genre of film, but it was just so absurdly awesome, it’s kind of hard to resist.
It has Takeshi Kitano (I mean, come on, it’s Takeshi) and also Kô Shibasaki whom I loved in Go, and which is one of my favourite Japanese films along with Quill (Saddest. Movie. Ever. (TM)).

Ok, I’ll admit that this looks like a fun movie - but Jay Chou as Kato? This can only end in tears and pain.
It was meant to be Kevin Smith writing, Stephen Chow directing, Jet Li as Kato, Jake Gyllenhaal as Reid (*ponder*) and then it just kept changing companies and crew and stars and now it’s Michel Gondry directing and Jay Chou as Kato? Not to mention Cameron Diaz and Eddie Furlong. Most. Eclectic. Combination. Ever.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. I mean, the trailer looks good and all (please say that’s not all the good bits) but I keep thinking Jay Chou might break out into Mando rap…
