That’s a cake? Holy crap. Seriously.
I thought something with that much detail would have an insane layer of plastic icing with extra sugar bits for the wings and head ‘ornaments’. So I dug around his flickr to find out more about this phenomenal construction.
That’s what the cake looks like on the inside, a mess of different pieces of cake glued together with what I imagine is the filling described on the maker’s site, Mike’s Amazing Cakes (amazing? no shit!). I’m still not sure how those bits on the left and right are made or what they’re filled with. And that coloured outside looks cracked like M&M shell.
Completely, and totally, wow.
