Fellina Sok-Cham’s bamboo tea service - Core77
I’m wondering whether these are comfortably easy to drink out of because of its square sides and the spoon ledges which may impede drinking from the corners.
But all the same, WANT. With emphasis.
Edit: zomg only USD$45 at the MoMA store. But shipping will be a nightmare. :( And anyone importing it to Au will probably jack up the price three-fold. hates.

I found some of those kopitiam cups and saucers I posted about the other day on ebay.  Unfortunately they’re in Singapore and the two sellers only do local pickup, or I pay something in the region of 100-150 SGD to ship them international.

While I want those cups badly, I don’t want them that badly.  However, now I need to find someone who lives in Singapore who is willing to pick the cups up (and allow me to IOU SGD$25 for the seller who won’t take paypal) and hold them for me until I know of someone who is flying from Singapore to Perth who will mule them for me. :/

The clock is ticking on these auctions and I haven’t found anyone yet…

WTD: More kopitiam cups and saucers.
Seriously, if anyone can tell me how I can search ebay for these or find them in Perth (I may even be inclined to pay shipping if not local) I will <3 you very much.

Oh cool I was wondering about that, because I was considering trying to cross breed this with the radiator mug.
tien:

It’s insulated — it’s actually hollow in the walls.

But it’s actually a ceramic mug with a silicone lid.
It doesn’t get too hot to handle?

CUPS needing auth

From time to time OSX 10.5 (could be others too) has issues trying to play nice on a Windows network.  Even if I have the location set to the right workgroup, it can’t look up the names of machines on the other network.  Tonight, it didn’t even want to ping the IP until the IP pinged me first. *stare*

Anyway, since it didn’t want to resolve the name of the computer the printer it was connected to, I had to go through the CUPS interface to change the smb url to the IP of the printer’s host. But then it kept asking me for an admin password which it didn’t do before.

To fix this, just add yourself to the user list for printing:

lppasswd -a <username>

And type in a password for the account when prompted.  When CUPS asks for an admin password, just use that username and password and everything will start working again. For now.
