Slow poached eggs and mushrooms on toast at Greenhouse, Perth.
The first time we went to Greenhouse it was brilliant, but we’re finding that the standard seems to be dropping with each subsequent visit.
The eggs were fine, but the mushrooms were over salted, and the toast was rock hard, and seemed burnt in places.
Bit disappointed. :(

Are You a Systematic Eater?
…asks CNN. Yes, CNN, I am.
Also, can you come by my house and make my breakfast like the picture above? This appeals to my levels of kookiness in so many untold ways.
Source: eatocracy, CNN

Am I? Probably. I eat at the same times most days (though that relates more to my working hours than to my actual hunger, unfortunately), and I eat pretty much the same foods through the week - though part of that is because cooking for one means there’s always leftovers and I hate wasting food (the alternative being that I end up eating enough for three people…which has happened more times than I care to admit).
Scanning through some of the comments after this article, I’m always amazed when I read what some people eat for breakfast, because if I ate some of what they mention, I’d be even more of a dumpling than I already am.
What do you have for breakfast? I’d like a change from my usual fare - ideas are welcome.
Oh and I cannot figure out what that suspicious cubic foodstuff is to the left of the eggs. Any ideas?

I’m not a systematic eater at all, but that does pique my aesthetically curious sense and I would like to partake in this method of eating.
Also, I think that cube may be cheese.

Mmmm… Full English Breakfast. Been awhile since I’ve had one of those…

It’s missing black pudding.
